Ninamu Resort is located on a private island in the southwest corner of Tikehau Atoll, 5 km from Mataiva. This secluded retreat offers accommodations in ten hand-crafted bungalows, each built with natural, locally sourced materials. The resort includes airport transfers to and from Tikehau Airport, all meals, drinking water, kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling, and fishing. Guests have access to WiFi. The Tikehau Atoll features a lagoon with a variety of fish species. Jacques Cousteau visited in 1987 and found a greater variety of fish species than any other location in French Polynesia. Onsite dining includes breakfasts with homemade bread, honey, jams, cereals, homemade yoghurt, bacon, sausages and eggs cooked to order; lunches and dinners primarily consist of fish with side dishes and fresh vegetables. The resort can accommodate dietary needs, including pescatarian, vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan options.
